Spotlighted for you this week is Pinhole Pro, a photo lab dedicated to fine paper, environmental stewardship, beautiful design and intuitive software, and who is passionate about creating beautiful press products that will help photographers share great images and perfect moments.

What is Pinhole Pro, and how did it get started?

At Pinhole Pro, we are a small team of developers, photographers, designers and paper experts inside of a

family-owned company called Mohawk Fine Papers. One thing we all share in common is a passion for beautiful, high-quality photoproducts.

Over the past decade, we’ve all seen professional photography go through two major changes. First, the way you capture an image – film to digital – and second, the products that you create with those images – photographic to press printed. Two years ago, Pinhole Pro was founded to assist professional photographers in adapting to these changes.

 

What keeps it going?  What fuel feeds the creative spark? 

We are driven by the passion we share with our customers for modern, clean design. We strive to give photographers beautiful products that fit their brand and make their clients happy. When we receive feedback that we’re helping photographers make their clients happy, it motivates our entire team.

 

Biggest challenges?  Triumphs?

The biggest challenge for new companies in the photo market is getting the word out. So, if you love our products and believe in modern and beautiful design, then please tell your friends about Pinhole Pro. We appreciate the help in spreading the word!

 

What are your most popular products?  How can using your materials help photographers create quality products and promote their business?

Our most popular photo book is our Panoramic Press Album.  It features a new paper technology (developed in-house at Mohawk Fine Papers) and will lie perfectly flat on your coffee table. We are excited to announce that it is now available with double-thick Superfine album pages. Whether your favorite paper type is fine art, luster or recycled, the Panoramic Album is your go-to album for parents and grandparents. Our Pinhole Pro ambassadors say that the new double-thick Superfine pages have a “fine art flavor” that clients will love. Goals? Objectives? What projects are you working on at the moment?

We are launching two brand new photo books right now. We have a new oversized 12×12 Signature Photo Book that is the perfect coffee table book for clients.  We also have added a new Vertical Panoramic Photo Book. We are thrilled about the books but our Pinhole Pro Ambassadors are even more excited.
